Welcome to the blog of the New London Sustainability Committee (NLSC).
The New London Sustainability Committee shall seek to examine, recommend and encourage sustainable practices and initiatives that positively impact New London’s environment, resource consumption, economy and/or quality of life for its citizens.
As requested by the City Council or on its own initiative, the NLSC shall issue reports and recommendations. The NLSC may seek input from experts in related fields, community members and constituencies when developing its reports and recommendations.
The NLSC is an outgrowth of the now-defunct New London Earth Day Organization (NLEDO).
